I guess I'll start this time.
I've only read the prologue so far, but it is fantastic. The imagery is incredible, and I could picture it so well in my head. That's a good thing, mind you. I was so sad when Vivi died, too, because in a prologue, Rae got me to care.
I'm really curious to see where the story goes ^-^

I don't know why Nerdy thinks that her story isn't all that good, because honestly it is. I've read a lot of crap and I've read a few good stories. The Step Sister is one of those few. It's not perfect - no story is perfect. I've only read the prologue and two chapters so far, and it's safe to say that it is a very good story. It's well thought out and I had no issues with the grammar/punctuation. The author makes it terribly easy to relate to her characters and her descriptions paints a vivid picture in your head. I love the main character, Dru. She uses her head. She thinks a lot before she acts, and that's not a quality you find in a lot of female leads these days.
What I love most about this story is that it diverts itself from the typical cliche stories you frequently but up on on wattpad. It's an original breath of fresh air. The characters are real and their emotions are real too.
The only thing I didn't like so much was the third person narrative (but that's just me). I prefer first person, mainly because third person narrative can be quite difficult to pull off. Nerdy did it well though so it didn't bother me while reading. I actually forgot about it when I really started to get into the story.
It's sad that such a wonderful story has such little recognition and 1D rape/fantasy stories are pulling in thousands of rapid readers.
My Overall assessment based on what I've read so far.
English/Grammar - 4/5 Plot - 4.5/5 (I just know this story is going to go great plot wise) Characters - 4/5 Setting - 5/5 (The descriptions of the town/places were very vivid) Creativity - 4/5
So if you want a story to read that has actual meaning, an actual plot, and commendable grammar, this here is the one for you. Click the link.
